problem in building project path in eclipse

I am having problem in building my project.
I get an error of 'indirect reference from .class file'.

Try Project clean and build. Looks like project is out of synch.

Why are you using applets? They are obsolete. How are you starting the application? Do you have a file with the HTML code in?

Is there still the error that start, "The project was not built since its build path..."?  Could you post the entire error description?

In the past I've found that those errors occur in Eclipse when the JVM configured for the project points to something which doesn't exist any more.

It's an error about ObjectInputStream which your source code (as per the screen shot) does not even use! That's the reason I had initially suggested a clean build.
If your project is only a single class, can you try deleting the whole project and start fresh?
