How is the REST API implemented? Apparently not as a servlet application. What is being used?

What Bear is asking is what framework are you using for your RESTful app?

You can have a RESTful app that uses servlets, for example Swing REST apps sit on top of servlets.

OK.
So are the servlets using annotations rather than xml?
