A friend made this "emergency chocolate jar" for me as a gift. It is so cool! And it even has The Moose on it.

It has an ordinary catch. For a real emergency kit, it would require you to break a special seal to get at the chocolate.

Then it isn't an emergency jar; it is simply a prop for chocoholics. An emergency jar would have a seal on it, for use in true emergencies, e.g. when you need chocolate and it is raining/snowing so heavily you can't get to the nearest store
