Hello All,

Yesterday, I cleared OCPJP 1.8 upgrade exam with 70%. I expected more score after attempt, but I am happy,
I improved my knowledge during preparation. I feel that is main motto of certification.

I spent good amount of time (4 to 6 hours of day ) for 2 weeks,

The books I prepared are
1) Oracle┬« Certified Professional Java┬« SE 8 Programmer II Study guide  by Jeanne Boyarsky
Scott Selikoff from Sybex
2)  Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer Exam 1Z0-809 From APress.
3) Enthuware and Whizlab simulatos.
4) Java 8 in Action from Manning publications.

Need to have good idea on Generics and how the Stream API got designed flexible using generics. Most of the questions encountered on Lamda expressions
functional programming , Stream API, the major advantage of attempting this certification is,  we will get good idea on applying generics, by applying them across stream API.
Need to keep good idea on Stream and its primitive versions,  Collectors class , default functional interfaces like Predicate, Consumer, Function and Supplier and Optional Class.

Exam is easy compared to exam simulators.  I loved the explanation of Enthuware simulator , Thank you so much Enthuware team for design and explaination.,
Whizlabs simulator is good and challenging as it resembles the feel of real exam. Thank you Whizlabs team for your support.

Thanks
