Hi

I'm a newbie in WebLogic and have a problem. When I was installing WebLogic at 80% of installation and it was showing me a message "Performing String Substitutions...", I got severe delays on this situation and fail to install. Please help me to solve this problem.

When you say it failed to install, did it just die or did it just never complete? I just installed 8.1SP3 on XP SP1 and had no problems but it can take a while depending on the speed of your machine.
