Hello,

I am working on a feature which pre-qualifies the user for an "offer" or a list of offers based on the information they enter on the form . On form submit, we show them an intermediate "loading" page before we take them to the "offers" they qualified for. We do input validation on all the data the user entered in the back end.

One of the requirements is that, if the SSN data they entered couldn't be found in the system, the user must be taken back from the intermediate "loading" page to the original form on which they entered their data, with their data pre-populated. How can I best accomplish this?

Our application uses Spring web flow and Spring MVC. I have been doing some research on this online, but so far I haven't been able to find a way to do this.

We can't use Ajax call to validate SSN because the SSN validation (and the decisioning) is done by a service which requires the whole form to be submitted to them.

Any ideas are welcome! Thank you so much.
