Hi there, I am trying to get familiar with weblogic and has gone through MedRec sample application. I guess this is not a good starting point for a newbie.
Any ideas? Do you recommend using any plugin with eclipse (like myeclipse or something like that)

No need for myeclipse, learning Weblogic is not necessarily a discussion for which tool do I use. Although it does come with Workshop now, which is purty good.

I would ask what environment are you coming from?
Do you already have Java skills? J2EE? Portal? EAI?
What type of application are you trying to build?
Where are you going to deploy this app?
Is it an ISV app?
