This article shows how to build a simple Notes desktop application. The app has functions to create Notes, edit and save them in a database. The GUI is built with the Java Swing API. The Notes data are stored in a H2 relational database which is accessed using EclipseLink Java Persistence API. The example app is built in three steps.
