I'm trying to make a simple HTTP proxy (works with 1.0 and GET method only). This is what I have so far, I'm not sure if I'm on the right track or not... Please see the comments in the code for where I am stuck thanks! This must work using firefox configured to proxy to localhost port xxxx (5555 in this example).

This is the parser class utilized in the above:

Are you writing a proxy server?  I'm not sure what the ProxyClient would do?

heres what I've been working on, I think I have the structure right but it's not working so obviously there is something wrong in the syntax

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
