Getting 404 error even though resource is available

Hi ,

I am new to spring. I am doing a POC. I dont see any errors in console but I am getting 404 error while trying to run my project. Below is my code.Please assist me in getting this done

What URL is giving you the 404 response?

@Somashekar: have  you tried to create a war and deploy separately  instead of from IDE (Assuming you are trying to deploy from IDE)?  I am facing something similar although my code works perfectly when I create a war and deploy from tomcat console, however I get 404 when I do the same in eclipse.

I am still trying to figure out a solution.
