I am way over my head in this problem.

We have a portal which runs on tomcat and previously authentication was done using CA SiteMinder with a tomcat connector.

Due to licensing fees, we are moving to an IIS front end to Tomcat and the CS SiteMinder connects with IIS and then redirects to Tomcat on 8080 and 8443.

I have an application which used the Wicket/Ajax framework, Web Services, this application works with no problem in the original configuration, but does not work when IIS is in front of tomcat.

IIS uses port 80 and 443

Tomcat uses port 8080 and 8443.

IIS redirects 80 to 8080 and 443 to 8443.

Does anyone use IIS as front end to tomcat....and if so; did they have any problems in this configuration.

The program just stops after pressing the submit button ....
