Hello All,
Today I have passed OCJP 8 (1Z0-813) with 80% and OCJP 6 with 86% (1Z0-851 - 28 of February) . I have working experience but didnt use java 8 features ,because of that today exam was quite hard for me, but I just wanted to get both certificate in a short time so I am glad it worked out:)  I feel like a compiler now. I think my score would be better If I wouldnt rush. My Roadmap:

OCJP 6:
*Book: SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide (Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates)
  *Enthuware mock exams

OCJP 8:
*Book: Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer || (Jeanne Boyarsky,Scott Selikoff)
  *Enthuware mock exams
  *java API

I have studied both exam 2 week (1 week book, 1 week mock exams) , really  Enthuware software helped a lot! Very similar concept to real exam and they have great support.

Thanks
Burak

Burak,
Congrats. I'm impressed that you did it in a month. It's a lot of material!

Please, tell us more about your preparation secrets. HOW have you made it so quickly?! Did someone told you, that they will kidnap your cat if you don't get the OCP 8 in two weeks?

I'm on it already over a month and I have done only a half of the book

Thank you all:)
Viktor,   your comment reminded me Stephen Kings Quitters Inc  short story
I can tell you my path for the upgrade exam:
1-I have checked first: which chapters I need to follow from Jeanne book (2,3,4,5,6,7,9,Appendix C)
2-One day I did a quick read for all chapters to have an idea about what I don`t know, i noted name of the topics/methods which I found hard so I can revisit
3-Following 4 day I re-read book, I just visit 2 chapter per day, opened API in one browser and eclipse. Then created package per chapter and wrote unit test classes for important topics (i.e. StreamTest, OptionalTest, ForkJoinTest etc...) took notes about things/chapters again I want to re-visit
4-After I finish the book, I visit coderanch and found each 1z0-813 certfication result topic, add each java class/method name mentioned in it to my checklist
5-Next week I went through my checklist re-visit as a flashcard if i can explain remember method names and usages. Also I check Oracle website and Jeanna books errata table if something new
6-There was total 6 test for the Enthuware so rest of the week I took a rest and complete exams, I just finish one exam in 2 hour with 75% I divided other exams by 30 question. For divided tests I get average 22 correct answer
7-Last day (4 hour before exam) I went through all my wrong answers through Enthuware (my exam was 12:45)
