AJS company, one of the oldest England motorcycles manufacturer founded in 1909. According to articles, they still hold 117 motorcycle world records.
Company owners obviously aren't the same and even doesn't belong to the same family anymore, but the brand is still alive.
Now, when I saw this motorcycle, I just loved it and got it shipped from Scotland last October. Since then, I enjoy commuting with it in London every single day.
Most pleasant thing is, when almost everyday single day someone stops me, elders who still remember these old days, and saying - "last time I've seen it N years back, so nice to see it again, it reminds me..."
So, this model is Cafe Racer, it has its unique look of having seat cowl, long tank, low handle bars and some other common components to cafe racers.
Cafe Racer name is, because people used to race between cafe shops, somebody was putting music on the play machine and you had to go to the next nearest cafe and come back, and if the music still played - you win betting $$$.
Yes, unfortunately they do only 125 so far. I believe this is their trial model. I have heard they are planning to release 400 cc model too.

In a city 30 mph limit, so I did over 40, but it wasn't the end (spec says 60 should be).
I do around 12 miles one way, which means 24 miles per day. 5 full days like that + do some on weekends, but less than that, which makes around 144 miles per week. So, I put petrol for ~ 7 GBP and can't finish tank in those 7 days, meaning the red lamp not coming up yet. Getting red lamp on next Monday or Tuesday evening - it isn't the end too, but I don't like surprises.
They been build only mid of last year, so not many feedback yet how they are in general, well, will see, so far I'm glad.
