How can I get JavaScript variable to refresh?  RSS feed

I have the following javascript:

The default timer value is .5. But If I decide to change the value in the JSON call, say to 2, the timer continues using the default value of .5.

Too much missing info.

Where is timeout declared? How is the original interval set up?

Sorry. I jumped the gun before I figured out I needed to clear the browser cache.

It is working now as expected.
