I've been brushing up on my source code comments and following some examples on the Oracle website I have put a subdirectory off my source folder called doc-files and within it some jpg images show relevant images. This all works and the resultant javadoc displays the images. The problem is that these jpg files are now included in the jar file which my ant build script is creating - which just bloats the file size.

Now I could move the jpg into a parent folder and use ../.. within my source code commends I guess - but before I do that is there any other way to exclude the files during the ant compilation / build process ?

Thanks in advance

Dave

Don't put the folder under source, make it a folder under the project root.

I tried changing the image definition to this

/**
* JDialogAbout is a modal dialog box which displays the application name and program version.
*
*

* <img   >
*/

However when I run the JavaDoc build ANT process it does not create the doc-files folder in a parent position within the javadoc folder structure.

Ummm

I found a way around it without having to change the location of my images. Amend the ANT build script
