Does the book address the pros and cons of using the jQuery library?
Thank you! Good luck with the book!

Mostly it just discusses the pros of using the jQuery library. Frankly, I can't even really think of any cons right off the top of my head. Even having to download a library isn't much of a con, since you can always just link to a content delivery network (which is also presented in the book).

As I've said many time in the past, life is too short to be writing raw JavaScript without jQuery assist¹.

¹ Unless you are at least using something like React that supersedes jQuery.
