Dear All,

I have received a purple message saying one of my post in a thread does not meet standards.  Please read below message. Then I had a look at the thread to the link I did not post anything related to the purple message. The thing was I'm noticed that  I'm posting the same thread twice. But I don't remember that I did so and I can't see that any post of mine in that thread. Some staff has sent to me but I wish to know the staff so that I contact them back for clarification. My profile named as Mohammed Sardar but some one namely Mohamed Sanaulla has posted something.  Please clarify

Unfortunately your post in this thread does not quite meet our publishing standards and we needed to temporarily hide it from view.  Once you edit your post to fix this, it will automatically be sent to a moderator for approval.  The specific problem was: You already asked about EXtJS resource in this topic: https://coderanch.com/t/678546/ExtJS-Video-tutorial Please dont repeat posts. If you have more questions, please ask them in the original topic you created

Thanks
Mohammed Sardar

The thread looks visible now. I think a moderator just got confused. During a promo, there are a lot of similar threads.

Name confusion I guess. It would be better if we can know who is the moderator so that exact root cause can be traced.

The moderators know who the instigator is of any moderation action here on CodeRanch. That's enough for us should any follow up be required but for our users it is mostly irrelevant.

How about an user is alarmed saying not following forum standards irrelevant to a thread/post ? How about a user can't get back to the moderator and say Mohammed sardar is different from Mohammed saluddin ? Is name change or name confusion is irrelevant ?

You posted it here. Now we know. The relevant moderator will see it. It's not that it isn't important. Accidents happen.

Yup, just a simple matter of name confusion. No demerits issued.
