The Java 6 developer exam is being retired. Not all on one date; that would just be silly!

Essay - May 30th
Resubmission - June 30th
Course submission - December 30th

That makes sense since you have 30 days to resubmit your assignment if you have failed the assignment. These dates do differ from an earlier announcement about the retirement of this exam. So I wonder what would happen if you take the essay exam on May 30th and e.g. two weeks are needed to evaluate the essay and the assignment. If you fail, you will only have two weeks to resubmit the assignment...

After comparing the the Oracle blog for this announcement and the retirement schedule, the blog one looks the correct one.

Nov 30 2016 last day to start assignment
May 30 2017 last day to submit assignment and do essay
Jun 30 2017 deadline to receive score
Jul 30 2017 last day to resubmit assignment
Dec 30 2017 last day to submit course submission form

I reported the retirement date issue for the OCMJD assignment resubmission to Oracle in their latest cert blog/announcement  here

Will see whether the date get corrected in their exam retirement page and that blog post.
