We are currently recruiting for Data Scientist’s to expand our data analytics capability. The candidate will have the opportunity to mix technical challenges with customer-facing and project support tasks and we are interested in candidates with experience in any of the following technical areas: machine learning, natural language processing, computational linguistics, co-reference resolution, discourse analysis, text analytics and sentiment analysis.
Your main responsibilities as a Data Scientist will involve:
Conducting novel research in given topic areas
Taking ownership of tasks in projects and delivering to challenging standards
Working effectively both on self-directed projects and in larger project teams
Preparing technical reports,
test procedures, process specifications and other product documentation
Your skills and qualifications as a Data Scientist will ideally include:
Degree or PHD qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with relevant experience
Experience in software development in any of the following: C/C++,
Java, Python, Ruby, C#
Experience of developing solutions using Windows and Linux
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Membership of an appropriate professional institution would be advantageous
A background in working in a secure environment is desirable but not essential

As well as being technically very capable, you will also need to be comfortable presenting in front of customers and building strong working relationships with them.
