Here i am using jsp and i am getting problem while fetching data from radio buttons

What exactly is the issue?
What does that look like as HTML on the browser?

What values do those two Java variables hold (check_essential_qual and check_desirable_qual)?

Give them a value of 'yes' and 'no'?

What do you mean by "coming from database"?

Do you mean to mark them as checked?
