I am having two tomcat instances in cluster mode, load-balancing enabled with Apache using mod_jk.

By default session time out is set to 30 minutes in web.xml file.

In my web application, When user logs in using SSO(Single sign-on), I've programatically set session time out to 4 hours using setMaxInactiveInterval()method of session object.

But when I check the session time out(TTL) in Tomcat manager of both tomcat, session time out for Primary session is set to 4 hour((that is what I've set programatically ) while session time out for Secondary session is set to 30 minutes.

Could somebody help me to diagnose this problem.

Thanks in advance.
