Hi.

I have 2 different applications being host in 2 weblogic 8.1 instances (for example: app server 1 and app server 2) under the same domain (same IP address different port). When user clicks on one link on the application in server 1, server 1 will then redirect the url to another application in server 2, but everytimes after the redirection, all session variables in server 1 are lost. I have tried numerous ways in setting the weblogic.xml, but to no avail.

Does anyone experience this problem before ?

You can't share sessions between 2 different web applications. Not even if they're on the same server.
