Intellij : new code changes not reflecting

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
In Intellij IDE version 2016.3.3

The latest code changes are not showing up.

I already tried File-> Invalidate caches/restart

Any other option to explore ?

Not showing up where?

IntelliJ by default installation doesn't build project after changes. You either need to do manually (upper menu -> Build : project, module or recompile only particular source file) or change settings presumably.

Code changes are not showing up during debugging.
Compiled class files do have my code changes. After making code changes I do compile particular component/module.

Any other option that I can try further!!!

For me isn't  clear. Maybe you could add some screenshots, i.e. showing your current code has a method call:
1. A();
2. but in debug mode it calls method B() instead of A(), because that was previous version of your code.

Are we talking about the same thing as described above?

Hi

You are quite close to my problem faced.

Suppose I am calling :

1)A()
2)In debug mode it calls A() but the new data members/new code changes in A() are not showing up in debug mode.

Probably I'm not going to get closer than that, unless you decide to help us to help you.
Your current explanation isn't sufficient, at least for me. Let us see if somebody else can help you.

Please add screenshot, will get clearer I think.

Any settings to check if the java file is getting compiled properly ?

How to check if IntelliJ workspace is  pointing to new changed sources (java files ) ?
We can fix it! We just need some baling wire, some WD-40, a bit of duct tape and this tiny ad:
