i have created the webapplication and created the war file and deployed it.
now i want to make some changes in web.xml.now if we want to execute the application without creating the war file again can we execute the application.are there any tools.kindly please reply to this mail as it is urgent for me

Weblogic allows you to deploy a web application as a directory -- expanded WAR file. This should help with development.

In this configuration, just make the changes that you need. And from the console, update (redeploy) the application.

without using console and without recreating the war file agin can we do it.is there any option in weblogic7.0

just like in tomcat when you create a war file it is exploded is there any option in weblogic that when you create a war file and when the server access it, the war file should be exploded

Update the web.xml in exploded structure and restart the weblogic.This should serve the purpose.

Iam asking that just like in tomcat , is there any option in weblogic that war file should be exploded. I Have searched the web,but no where i have found the solution
