Hello everybody,

So I'm writing something for a friend and I need to figure out four things, two of which I've figured out, two I'm stuck on. The two I'm stuck on are:

1) I need to take two Jar files from the src then place them on the desktop.
2) I need to search for a specific file path on the computer, then search for a specific folder in that path and then take the 2 Jar files from the src and put them in that folder.

Any help with this would be tremendously appreciated.

Thank you

Hi, George.
I see you are fairly new to the forums, so as a fellow participant, welcome!

Now when you write "take two jars from the source", do you mean you wish to make a couple of jar files by compiling two groups of packages and then running the "jar" command on each group?

Also, for item two, when you "search for a specific file path", this sounds like you are trying to put those 2 jar files into the class path for some app you are building, by first determining what its classpath is.  Is that correct?

If I have this wrong, then please explain further.
