Either a horizontal LinearLayout or a TableLayout with one row would do. Have you tried either of them? See http://www.mkyong.com/android/android-linearlayout-example/ and http://www.mkyong.com/android/android-tablelayout-example/ for examples in action.

Have you checked out TableLayout yet? That would seem to fit well.
