On page 260, the getBundle() call on line 14 uses the fully qualified class name for finding the properties file. So if the file is in a package, "Zoo" should be replaced by "yourpackage.Zoo".

I realize many will run the code in the default package, but I'm coding everything in packages named chap01, chap02, chap03, ... and discovered this.

That's not an errata. That example isn't using packages. It is something we could add as a tip and and I'll note it on our list of things that could be clearer. But to be an errata, it has to be wrong.

Agreed, and after I read the API to figure it out, I saw you mentioned ResourceBundles can be in a package in some example code a couple of pages later. I like the hint idea.
