Ha ha! Sorry for the very loose language...
Substitute child with subclass. The (failed) joke was that if the exception that she's making is a subclass of RuntimeException, then there's no need to declare it...

I stumbled upon this site yesterday and played with the cows a bit. I love those cows! I am planning on taking the certification in september and found this to be one of the most user friendly java sites. I will be back!
