Did you know that Dave from Chas & Dave restores wagons like those now? (I expect anyone outside of England, and anyone inside of England under 35 will not have a clue who Chas & Dave are)

I don't know where the owner of that caravan was from, but I had a chat with a chap from Hartlepool who was showing off these wagons. I forget how much he said they weigh, but it was quite a lot; I think the largest was about 3½ tons. The smallest on the right is pretty tiny; you could hardly have more than about one person sleeping in it. (Or one Toad.)

I am sure I had met the chap from Hartlepool elsewhere.

mwahaha it could sleep in that wagon easily with one other person. well, if it was the right person
on a serious note millions of gypsies were killed under Hitler.

This one's pretty neat, if a bit purple.



This one's a little bit different.  A little less Gypsy, but still a nomadic house.

There always was a tradition of having expanding caravans, but those people have taken that to new heights
