POSITION SUMMARY:

We will be a dependable partner to our businesses by providing high quality IT services on time and within budget. We will do so by simplifying our architecture to focus on strategically valuable technologies, investing in our people to equip them with skills of the future, and promoting a culture of ownership and delivery.
If this vision excites you, we are seeking twenty-four (24) Delivery Leaders in our new structure to lead work-cells focused on business outcomes and projects. These individuals will be dedicated to our customer channels, emphasizes business/domain knowledge and delivery accountability, and minimizes ramp-up / ramp down costs. The roles will be aligned to some of the following:
-Delivery Lead, Application Capture and New Business
-Delivery Lead, Sponsor / TPA Solutions
-Delivery Lead, Salesforce Workplace
-Delivery Lead, Salesforce Insurance and Service

Note: MassMutual is undergoing change, and as a result, we are removing officer titles over time as part of work we are doing to create a culture of reduced hierarchy and increased autonomy. While in our previous structure, this role would have been advertised as a Director, these officer titles are being phased out.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manages 1-2 work-cells while also participating as an individual contributor (in one of the disciplines – Product Owner, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business, Analyst, Developer, Tester, etc.) to delivery business outcomes; strategic, operational and BAU. Oversight of team of 6-25 people or <$2M of annual investment
-Accountable for delivery and health of work-cell (agile or waterfall) team(s)
-Responsible for managing capacity / demand of team(s) – gathering demand from IT and business leaders and planning accordingly, working with Portfolio Head
-Accountable for selection and engagement of team members – attract, retain and develop talent
-May have Product Owner responsibilities (if work-cell has an IT – see Product Owner responsibilities for more detail
-Accountable for cost center budget of work-cell
-May report into Product Manager / AVP or or VP positions or CIO (depending on scale of channel)
-Create an environment that is proactive, agile, economical, collaborative and accountable
-Coach, mentor and provide career guidance for all team members and build domain expertise within the team
-Ensure execution is aligned with best practices and standards as defined by CoEs and solutions deployed are secure as per EIRM standards
-Collaborate within and across CIO channels to identify delivery efficiencies, leverage teammates on the bench and ensure all teams are successful
-Provides information to business partners about product line improvement opportunities and collaborates with them to drive down costs and support capabilities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Self-driven, extremely energetic individual who has the vision of enhancing the productivity of MM(IT) employees by leveraging the latest in technology
-Understanding of the impact of IT on business results
-Experience in managing business engagements starting from building strong relationship with the various business leads to balancing a wide variety of priorities
-Experience and knowledge of domain and/or proven record of learning quickly
-Has an understanding of an IT organization and which areas support tools, applications services and projects across IT
-Proven ability to apply financial insights and draw accurate conclusions from financial and other quantitative information
-Assists in the development and definition of the business partners’ strategy
-Deep technical knowledge in application development
-Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and reasoning skills
-Demonstrated leadership in coordinating initiatives across business and organizational boundaries, and building effective cross-functional teams
-Ability to travel and work under periods of stress.
-Authorized to work in the US with or without sponsorship
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-3+ years of overall experience with at least 2+ years of IT leadership, business
unit, or other functional leadership experience
