Hi,

We are working to connect our J2EE application deployed on WebLogic8.1 SP5 with Oracle10g RAC.

As per BEA documentaion we can either use Multipools or Connect-Time Failover(with single ConnectionPool). I did a primary test on application with single Weblogic instance (un-clustered) and it works with both approaches. However, I don't have any idea as to which one is a better way and why? Any suggestions? Also what are the crucial parameters in preferred approach.

Also keeping in mind that in fututre we'll also go for WebLogic Clustering.

Thanks
Jass
