Hello all Ranchers, today I cleared my 1Z0-803(OCAJP7) exam. First of all I wanted to thank all ranchers here for helping me , for solving out my queries.

Lets begin my story-> I dislike programming, I hate programming till my last semester, but in this semester I thought that I have to do some face-to-face talk with programming.Because doing a degree in Computer science and didn't know even a single word in programming is really very bad. So I promised myself to do learn Programming . So in this semester I have java as my subject and I started studying(I have a little knowledge in C++ thats why getting concepts in java is little bit easy for me). Then I go through Oracle site and see there about Java certification and then started preparing for it.

So my preparation starts from 21st of June and today(2 Sept) I gave my paper(Almost 2.5 months).

I do certification not only to get some glamour on my CV but also to get some concepts in programming.And yes after going through certification preparation I can proudly say that yes now I didn't have programming.Now I think that programming is not difficult as I think in the beginning.

So I started Preparation from MALA GUPTA book. I highly advice to every beginner to start with it . It is really amazing book . It contains good pictorial representations which can easily fit in our mind as compared to long paragraphs.

Next after completing MALA GUPTA i went for KATHY SIERRA and BERT BATES book which is really very vrey good for preparation. I highly recommend everyone to go with it.

Then I go for some youtube videos by DURGA SIR->>>HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GO WITHY IT->>VERY NICE EXPLAINATION AND CONTAINS FULL OCAJP7 TOPICS
 Link->webpage .

Next is for mock exams-> I went for Enthuware and Whizlabs.
 Whizlabs questions are easy than enthuware .

My scores in Whizlabs are->

Diagnostic test->85%
Test 1->86
Test 2-> 90%
Test 3-> 73%  (Test given my hearing music lol..)
Final Test->92%

But Whizlabs also contains some high level questions.

Next enthware ques are little bit harder than real exam.

My scores in Enthuware->

Starter-> 46% (Just given to see how I am doing) and then given again and got 80%(Seriously saying I didn't know answer of any ques even giving it 2nd time)

Rest I have done via Objective Wise.

Unique Test->77%.

REAL ORACLE EXAM-> 90%

Questions in exam are easy . But main thing is time management.

You didn't believe thie-> In my mock exams I do 80 questions in 1.5 hours but in real exam i take 2 hours to complete 70 questions and then just 10 minutes to review. And the funny thing is that during my review my first question(Question 1) is wrong and then correct it . lol... Only 5 minutes for review and on reviewing my First question turns out to be wrong....

And i have given paper and sketch pen during my preparation.

So At Last again I thank all the ranchers for solving/helping me.

And 1 last tip->   During The Preparation Of Your Certification Examination NEVER EVER GIVE UP

Now next target is 1Z0-804 OCPJP7.......

So I am coming once again to disturb the ranchers for solving my problems but this time is of OCPJP7.  lol...

Hi O Shea,

Congratulations champion! Great achievement Now it's time to relax a bit and have a (well-deserved) (or 2 or 3). And if you want to spoil yourself have a Belgian beer, our beers are the best of the world

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Other ranchers will definitely benefit! Have a cow!

Don't forget to add your name to the OcajpWallOfFame!

Kind regards,
Roel
