I have been searching the web for prep material for the Weblogic Portal 8.1 certification exam but have not found anything substantial.
Has anyone here taken the exam?
Can they provide any tips or suggest any material thats helpful?
I have seen the BEA website and dont think so the information is in depth enough for preparing for an exam.

any help is appreciated.
thanks.

"AM",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

It does not, I fear. Please use a full last name, not an initial.

Well I havent found anything as yet, everyone points back to the edocs. There should be a slightly more organised way of preparing for the exam.

Actually, the BEA E-docs are the absolute best resource for preparation. Most of the books on WebLogic that I have seen are just glorified repackaging of the BEA documentation and most don't even do a very good job of that.
