Today I did my OCP Java SE 8 (1Z0-809) and I passed it with 93%.
I have to say it has been just a trial (fortunately it went well), because I was scheduling to give the exam at the end of October.
Unfortunately my company's voucher expired today and, as a fool, I was thinking "I can use the voucher now to schedule the exam at the end of October", but I have just found yesterday that's not possible so I was "forced" to take the exam today.
In total we can say I studied more or less one month (during my vacation :-/) and I have principally used the Selikoff's book and the Enthuware simulator.
I started to try another book 3 days ago (the editor is the Apress) since I found some inconsistencies between the Selikoff's and the simulator (especially on Threads and the sorted Collections), but it was even worst, so I concentrated my time on the simulations.
A final word: don't trust to vouchers!

Too bad you have to give up some of your vacation time to get this done.
Yeah, I know.
Unfortunately you can't study during your work time (the projects don't write by themself ), and study after 8+ hours at work is really difficult, so the only option remaining was to do it during my vacation.

Once again very very congrats on your success.
I mean, that I schedule my exam before or after the expiration of the voucher, what is the difference for them? Nothing, because you're paying in the moment you're scheduling the exam and not the day you're taking it...
That was my idea, but it doesn't seem the case
