Hi all,

I use Windows and now I just installed Cigwin. I know there are the same command that for Linux, but I cant navigate properly.

The only directories I can access are home and Isaac....

Any help with that please?

I need to go to a folder called SNAP which is located in C:/

Regards, Isaac

As an alternative to Cygwin or possibility in conjunction to Cygwin you may want to check out
MobaXterm - http://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/
and/or
GnuWin- http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/

MobaXterm not only gives you a local terminal which is very much like Linux but it also gives you SSH, x server and more.

GnuWin gives you many of the command line tools you would expect from a Linux terminal, but they all run naively on your local Windows system.

If we are listing alternatives, Git Bash is good too.
