Some of the Head First books mention inside of the books that they can really help out if you choose to take any certifications in that material.
Currently I'm looking at the taking Google/Udacity Android certification which includes topics like testing using Espresso, JUnit, refactoring, debugging Android code and more.
Would you say that this book would help when preparing for Android development certification?

Hello again,

We looked carefully at the Android certification program to make sure we were covering the main topics, but we are not a certification book, and we don't have questions etc. relating to the certification process. But we think we'll make a great companion to your certification journey :-)

The more I read and see the more I like. Sounds like your book is defiantly one to pick up for someone like me.
