I am always happy to receive a present! But look at the coincidence. It is the second time I criticize agile, and get rewarded with a book about it.
I will read it, just like I read the previous one. It will help to improve my English at least, and to know how 'my opponents think'.  ;)

I have no idea, but to my utter surprise I got a cow for my latest comment from somebody. Anyway, I dislike agile that much, that I from the one hand try to avoid the subject. But then I hear so many things I disagree with, I have to react to what in my very humble opinion is just uhm, 'cult like crap'.

Different opinions are welcome; disrespect is not.

You can feel free to disagree with anyone or anything as long as your posts are couched in professionalism and respect.

. . . and, as you have seen, a good disagreement with respect deserves and earns recognition.

Ah do not worry Bear, for using pejorative terms to describe certain agile practices, I get punished enough in my professional life. Anyway, believe me, I at least try to censure myself, but I truly and passionately dislike it.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
