I need to implement such functionality like logging in application via twitch. The user in the application (written in JavaFx) presses the Login button, a browser window opens with a link to login through twitch.
After the user clicks "Allow", twitch sends a token.

I need to implement functionality:
--------------------------------------

- 1)After pressing login button in application, the browser opens with URL to login through twitch
- 2)A user presses "Allow" button on the website
- 3)Twitch sends a token. I need to get it somehow with Java
- 4)Set the variable's value to this token

How to implement this? Thanks in advance.

Actually, what you are working with is 2-factor authentication with oauth2. The nightmares have mostly faded, but if I'm not mistaken, the authentication is passed to the application server that invoked the Twitch login, not to the client. The application server would then establish a session ID in the usual way.
