In my MainActivity, I have a RecyclerView. It displays data from an SQLite database that is populated by MainActivityAdapter. I've implemented OnClickListener in my adapters ViewHolder and in onClick have created an int that get's the clicked items position using getAdapterPosition(). Like so:

Now, I want to use that position value to get the record ID from the SQLite database relevant to the item clicked in the recyclerview. FYI: Due to the nature of the project I am working on, I am quite limited to the amounts of source code I can post here. However, I will do my best to answer any necessary question.

Thanks!

I have resolved this issue but it involved changing a lot of my source code. Since this thread is of no real use, perhaps a mod should just delete it. I would but I don't have the option to.
