I bought Ruth a copy of some Cordwainer Smith stories for Christmas, so I shall have to “borrow” them and read the story aboiut Scanners. She is liking them.

They don't not live in Java9, by the looks of it. I have forgotten the names of the methods, but I think they are tokens() and matches(). I presume you are trumpeting that forth in the book.

Yes, Scanner.tokens and Scanner.findAll are new in Java 9, and they are mentioned in the book.
