Oracle is retiring some exams. The latest you can take the following exams is:

  • 5/31/18 - OCP 6
  • 5/31/18 - OCA 5/6 (this was the cert that didn't lead into the OCP
  • 12/31/18 - OCA/OCP 7
  • 12/31/18 - Upgrade to Java 7

I think that you may have the year for the Java 7 exams.

    Hi,
I am curious. Is Oracle retiring the Java Server Faces developer exam as well?
I haven't seen any mock exam available yet because not many people plan to take it.
I failed it 3 months ago and I am still studying hard on it.
I am not sure if I will pass it for the second time.

I do not think that Oracle is retiring the Java Server Faces exam yet, that is if you taking about the 1Z0-896 exam which can be found here
    https://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=5001&get_params=p_exam_id:1Z0-896

If you go to the 1Z0-805 page https://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=5001&get_params=p_exam_id:1Z0-805
you should notice in the title it says:

Upgrade to Java SE 7 Programmer (retiring Dec 31, 2018)

If you go to the 1Z0-803 page http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=5001&get_params=p_exam_id:1Z0-803
you should notice in the title it says:

    Java SE 7 Programmer I (retiring Dec 31, 2018)

However the 1Z0-896 page it does not state that the exam is it retiring.

Seriously Rick? Seriously? You might as well just read this tiny ad:
