Can someone please point me to some good resources to study the topic 'Apply best practices to design and implement web services'? I looked at the stuff in Ocejwsd links but could not find much.

I see a number of question on this topic in the real exam.

Yes, that is a real problem.

The best materials I have come across are from the notes of Mikalai Zaikin (both EE5 and EE6 notes) and you can find some stuff in the old Sun Blueprint: Designing Web Services With the J2EE 1.4 Platform . Use Google as well to find interesting stuff.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
