I want to flag a CMP field as read only in Weblogic 9.2. Any ideas how to do this? I know it is possible in JBoss. I want ONLY ONE field in the bean as read-only which means any value that the attribute acquires at runtime is not persisted back into the database after ejbStore().

If this is possible, it is probably WebLogic specific. I'll move this to our WebLogic forum for you where someone is more likely to know how to do it.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
