Hi guys.

I have created a FXML file in Scene Builder, but am unsure as to how to use it in Eclipse.

I am using JavaFX 9 by example and it says:

" This file should be placed in a Java projects resources directory—such as src/main/ resources/ContactForm.xml."

I have done so but, whilst I can plainly see that the file is indeed stored in that directory in Windows Explorer, I do not see the .xml/.fxml file in the package explorer section of Eclipse.

I can open the file manually in Eclipse by means of File>Open File navigating to

C:\Users\tony\eclipse-workspace\Tony\src\main\resources

and then selecting the FXML file, ContactForm.fxml and it opens in Eclipse. But, it would appear that my FXML file is all by itself, rather than associated with some java project, meaning I cannot add code to the FXML meaning it is purely graphical, it is not wired to anything.

Further complicating things is what seems to be a bug with Gluon 8.2.0:

It sets the default installation directory from C:\Program Files\(x86)\SceneBuilder to Users/user/local/AppData/local/SceneBuilder

How would I remedy this?

No it's F for fingers missing.

I thought I had changed it to FX fast enough, but you were faster and caught me out about my mistake
