I logged into manning.com today and noticed that you can buy "tokens". What are tokens you ask?

Manning is doing microtransactions. You can buy tiny pieces of a book.

I just saw that today.  Tokens cost 1ยข each, and depending on the size of the content you want to reveal, it could be only a few tokens or several tens (or maybe hundreds) of tokens.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
