Hi everyone!

I am new to the forums and I am also new to coding. I have looked around through the different topics and I like the place, and I have also understood that i have a looooot to learn, since I start from zero in programming, in this case with Java.

I am currently studying on my own for the oracle OCA certification. I have read some arguments and I have started writing simple code lines following Herbert Schuldt's "Java. A beginner's guide" but i should shortly receive Jeanne Boyarsky's "OCA/OCP Java SE 8 Programmer Certification Kit". I am sure this will be a great place to be in through my fresh started journey! And who knows, I may as well turn useful for the community.

Cheers!

So you say at the end of the day Nik had no other available options as just to end up here?

Thanks everyone =)

I have received the books this very afternoon and I find them very interesting. At the moment I am reading the Study Tips... Very useful stuff I'd say!
