I have used Intelli J Idea and Eclipse with Weblogic. Although I do not start my server through my Idea or Eclipse, but I used the remote debugger so as to debug my program on the server.

Thanks,

So, now that Oracle and BEA are as one, is there a preferred IDE that Oracle will push?

Hi,

workshop is built on top of eclipse so It's a great tool. You can also use eclipse and install weblogic plugin on it. I've also used for a while in a project JBuilder, it is a great tool and worked really well with weblogic also.

Hi,

as a BEA consultant I haven't heard anything about this yet. Workshop the actual preferred IDE for developmento with workshop is a great tool I don't think they'll try to change this. Maybe Oracle might force JDeveloper integration thought.
