Hi this is a simple program whereby it will print out a message depending on the name entered by the user, the problem is that it won't print any message after you enter a name

Hi Kevin,

Does your program has a main method that calls the getName method ?

It seems that the code in your post is not complete

Don't use if (something) return value0; else return value1;
Use ?:The reason you aren't getting anything printed is that you haven't given any instructions to print anything. Your method returns “Cool” or “Uncool”, but you are nowhere printing that out. Oh, I see you have worked that out already
