Hi,

Couple of projects are coming for Java to DART conversion.

Is it DART is really worth in converting the existing Java applications ?

What are the differences between DART vs Java language ???

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with DART but before deciding to convert you have to measure the benefits vs availability of people to hire that have DART skills.

Make me think of a project I was handed a couple of decades ago, to convert a fairly large Pascal project to C++. I was not familiar with Pascal so I studied its syntax for a couple of weeks. The syntax was close enough that I wrote a 3 page long SED (Unix Sequential EDitor, ie regular expression substitution) script to convert the Pascal to C++. There were of course somethings that couldn't be properly converted to C++ but it ended up with 95-97% of the translation was successful so all I had to do was track down the compile errors and fix them. This wasn't too difficult a task because most of the items that didn't convert followed the same pattern.
