Hi one and all,

Can anyone help me, what is the procedure for upgrading WebLogic server from version 8 to version 10 in solarissolaris environment, and what are the files to be modified during this procedure so that WebLogic server functions as WebLogic server version 10.

Welcome to the JavaRanch.
The answer to your question is "that depends". It depends on exactly what your application requirements and configuration are. Weblogic has a utility which can convert a WLS 8 domain to WLS 10. It doesn't work for me. I had to create a new domain, set up everything as it was in WLS 8, figure out how to configure things that were no longer supported, make non-trivial code changes, then deploy my applications to the new domain.
Spend some time with the WLS 10 Upgrade Guide. I suggest you try your upgrade on a test system (several times!) and write your procedure down step-by-step before attempting to migrate any non-trivial applications.
